Filmmaker. Animator. Illustrator. 🎥 🎨 ✨
Lexi Doukakis is an independent artist from the San Francisco Bay Area, California. After obtaining an Associate degree in Film, Television, and Electronic Media at the College of San Mateo, Lexi then earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Cinema at San Francisco State University.
Lexi has always known that she was meant to be a storyteller. From an early age, the minute she learned how to draw or press record on a camera, Lexi discovered that she could bring her imagination to life. When words failed, she was able to project the way she saw the world through her own, wondrous perspective via art and film.

Lexi has a wide range of visual styles that she likes to immerse and express herself in. This is clearly evident within her experimental films and fantastical illustrations.
In 2021, Lexi won "Best Animation" for her film "Brimful World" at San Francisco State University's School of Cinema Film Finals Festival.

In 2022, Lexi was granted into the Marcus Undergraduate Research Fellowship. During this time, she researched and cultivated a striking climate change film called "Brimful World: An Avaricious Humanity is Destroying a Helpless Planet!"
Besides producing her own artistic projects, Lexi finds herself sharing my art through providing animations for other filmmakers and creating advertisements for clients.
